Having already tested the musical waters some years ago with a successful pops concert, the unlikely alliance of the classical RSNO and good time folksters Phil and Aly is now a firm one.

The musical duo of Cunningham the accordionist and Bain the fiddler can be as funny as Morecambe and Wise and as musically accomplished as Simon and Garfunkel depending on the accasion. Having sealed their musical friendship in the 1980s through numerous television appearances, the pair have continued to play live and record together with invigorating and magical effect.
