| This weekly network-slot radio show was braodcast
live from "The LemonTree" a dynamic venue in the
heart of Aberdeen. the programme compriseda micture of live
music and chat and Phil presented this show for 3 years. |
| Following on from the success of "Live at the Lemon Tree",
BBC Scotland asked Phil to present this series of one hour
shows. Running for 13 weeks the shows were recorded in The
USA, Britain and Europe in 1996, 97 and 98. The show format
consisted of a conversation between Phil and his guest musician,
a selection of the guest's favourite music and a piece played
by Phil and his guest together. Guests included Bonnie Raitt,
Queen ida, Jerry Douglas, Eddi Reader, Richard Thompson, Gerry
Rafferty, Midge Ure, John Martin, Carlos Nunez, Michael Ducet,
Simon Nicoll, Donald Shaw and Karen Matheson, and Evelyn Glennie. |
| In 1991 Phil also presented the Ian Anderson show for a
week and in 1990 presented 2 one hour programmes called "Celtic
Horizons" |
